What is EduTerra House?

Play is the highest form of research. At EduTerra House, children are afforded extended amounts of time to explore, ponder, experiment, observe, create, and interact with the natural world around them. Daily offerings serve to further cultivate a culture of curiosity and creativity.

 

Both indoors and outside, thoughtfully curated materials are presented with purpose and intention. Children are invited to engage with these materials at their own pace and to the extent that suits their individual interests. Concepts are studied and explored in depth over a prolonged period of time in order to build deeper understanding.

Through the experiences offered at EduTerra House, children will develop a sense of interconnectedness with the natural world around them, forge and foster meaningful relationships with others, and nurture and cultivate their own sense of self as they come to understand and value their role in our world. They emerge as capable competent stewards of the earth and humanity.
